Tobacco blue mold
Tobacco blue mold is caused by Peronospora tabacina.
The attacks of blue mold cause severe losses due both to leaf necrosis and to the slowing down of plant growth. The disease may destroy the crop within a few days, at any stage of the crop. In the worst cases, the fungus affects the veins, and then the stems (systemic blue mold).
